Sodomy claim: Police have statements from 18 people

KUALA LUMPUR: Police have recorded statements from 18 people, including doctors who examined the person who accused Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim of sodomising him.

Federal CID director Comm Datuk Bakri Zinin said no time frame had been fixed to record Anwar’s statement but it was expected to be done soon.

“The time will come when a statement would be recorded (from him) because he is one of the people named in the investigations.” Comm Bakri said.

He said the case was now being investigated under Section 377C of the Penal Code, which carries a jail term of up to 20 years and whipping if, convicted.

Section 377c stands for carnal intercourse against the order of nature.

Comm Bakri said people who appear to be linked with the circumstances of the case had been roped in to help in investigations.

He said police were still in the process of identifying the remaining people who might have knowledge or knew of the alleged sodomy. He said police would contact them and have their statements recorded under Section 112 of the Criminal Procedure Code (CTC).

“If they refuse to come forward voluntarily to assist police, we will have no other choice but to compel them to come forward as provided for under Section 111 of the CTC.

(When Raja Petra gave evidence, you arrest him, now why not compel Najib to come forward then? He was in the SD!!)

“If they fail to adhere to the conditions stipulated under Section 111 within the time and date as specified in the order, police will apply for a court order compelling them to do so,” Comm Bakri said Sunday.

He also urged and warned the media to not speculate about the case as it could jeopardise police investigations.

“If you (media) speculate, be prepared to be summoned into the court to give your statements later on,” he said.

(Whats the function of the media then? Just watch and nod with brains in in dustbins?)

When asked if police were offering protection for the Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan, 23, Comm Bakri replied.

“Yes. On the day he came to lodge a police report, he had also asked us to provide him protection.”

Personally speaking, I think it is another plot to step on Anwar’s aim to overrun the government. Its just so right to think its that way. But I will reserve my view for now on.

It seems that police are being biased in investigating. Let me explain.

1 – There are 2 Statuary Declaration about a MURDER involving a high profile Minister. One of it was taken back, so? “I act as if I did not hear it? did not read it? never knew about it??? – This is FRESH NEW EVIDENCE that FBIs and CSIs are looking for and yet the police are “lenggang kaki” and they keep on pressing on the SODOMY case!!!!!

2. Anwar Ibrahim went out to file a police report about the IGP and AG eventhough this issue was back in 10 years ago. What did the police do? Keep quiet.? This will set out an eye opener on the public that the police are being bias in investigation.

We have a so called POLIS DiRAJA not POLIS DI”PERDANA MENTERI”

There is “KESETIAAAN KEPADA RAJA DAN NEGARA”, there was never KEPADA PERDANA MENTERI OR TIMBALAN PERDANA MENTERI – just checkout the Saturtary declaration of Balasubramaniam and you will see what I mean. That “ViP” said “I’m meeting the IGP, it would be settle, be cool….”

Kesetiaan kepada Negara also is a principle of keeping Malaysia high up among others with good police and judicary integrity. Never let trials like Altantuya brings question to the world how Malaysia handled it badly. They seem to forget that.

Im afraid that Malaysia has loss its judiciary and police integrity. Its just a &*%^ feeling about my beloved country. I want a change. Anwar, just hop in!!

Clamped!

July 7, 2008

My car (dearly’s car) was clamped!

This is one of the problems doing elective in big campuses or hospitals in the big city. Parking!!

I can’t park at the hospital parking which will cost me 1 buck per hour. Thats crazy!

Instead I park where medical students park, which is near the medical campus just beside the university. There are all warnings saying ” Kereta anda akan di”clamp”".

Me – “Yeah right! As if you have thousands of clampers to clamp hundreds of cars parking on the yellow line”

And they did. Although not hundreds but all the cars parked on the yellow line nearest to the hospital.

Urrgh…

I called the guard and I talked nicely to them saying that I was a “young doc” newly practicing here and I didn’t know where to park. I follow the flow. After chit-chatting I was fine RM 10. Haha!! he was trying to fine me RM50!!’

Apparently a VViP Dato’ complained that he dislike the students park there. Please la Dato. Kita ni miskin, dahla minyak mahal…

So where to park now? Aiyooo.. must cycle to hospital heheĀ  ;-)
