Game On

February 15, 2008

Another season of election has started. The parliament has been dissolved and we will vote on March 8. The Barisan Nasional led government will once again seek the mandate from the rakyat to continue on power for the next 5 years. Our former premier Tun Dr. Mahathir said that the government will call for elections when they are confident to win it. Quite true? Maybe, especially when they call for elections before the top opposition political figure Anwar Ibrahim is eligible to contest for elections, which is April 15 due to his 9 year-old corruption conviction. Why not wait until 2009? 5 years.

How will this election season be? more demos? :-D From the events that happened last year, Bersih Rally, Hindraf thingy and so on, we can see that we are actually democratically oppressed. Since the main stream media are BN biased, blogs are the place for the people’s voice.

Stumbled upon this at Haris Ibrahim’s blog.

It should be interesting…

Think before you vote.
